Positive Feedback about Vista Base (Login as Administrator A

Thank you, Zack for posting your recent article about how to Login as the Administrator Account in Vista Base. I found the Instructions easy to follow (considering the fact that I am not a Programmer or a Registry Hacker). Thanks again.

I would like to know how Zack figured this out or did he just copy and paste Jerry Ham of Windows Connected work around? -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm

Wow... sounds like jealousy... I did some research yes, but I linked to relevant places as well.

I am going to ask you nicely, refrain from saying things like that, especially when its me. I notice "sometimes" when someone points out your mistake, informs you that you are doing something wrong, you either say they are shouting at you or jealous or ask, "why do they have to act that way?". I am not jealous of you, I simply pointed out something that was figured out by Jerry Ham and credited even by an MS Employee as a recommended work around.
http://windowsconnected.com/blogs/jerry/archive/2006/02/22/1028.aspx What got me suspecious is how identical both methods are. Your link is relevant to the Vista security website, but not the original source of the work around. All I am saying, if you borrowed some of Jerry's info, at least give credit, where credit is due. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm

I'm glad you gave me the link - I did search for it but couldn't find it, so I'll stick it on there straight away. I do apologise for sometimes jumping to these conclusions - call it human nature, possibly even my human nature if you will - and as human nature goes, the only way to learn and move on is to learn from your mistakes or those pointed out to you.
I thank you for that :o)

All I am saying is, try not to misinterpret the tone of someones post or reply as necessarily being negative, I have everyones best interest at heart here and I am glad you understand. Keep up the good work, I consider you to be an asset to this community. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm

Andre, I agree with your comments that Zack is "an asset to this community". Sure he makes the odd mistake, but when he does so he admits it. Nearly all of his posts are informative and add to the knowledge base here.
Good on you Zack.

Good on all of us :o) HURRAY!
